Ray received his AA in accounting from Bliss Business College and was a junior accountant with a CPA firm and traveled to do audits for clients. He loved his music, mostly southern gospel, polkas and John Phillip Sousa and liked the earlier era of music as well. He also loved to travel and do cruises; was able to visit five different continents and was excited to do the tours.
