Robert George Obituary

Robert “Bobby” Lee George, 80, Bidwell, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 in Arbors at Gallipolis, Gallipolis, Ohio. Bobby was born January 4, 1942 in Gallia County, Ohio, the only child of the late Golda Lee and Glenna Mae (Kemper) George.

Bobby retired from managing O’Briens Bowling Alley in Columbus, Ohio and later went to work at McDonalds. He was always active – he spent many summers at Uncle Sherm’s house while he was growing up. He enjoyed fishing and working on automobiles. An avid storyteller, he loved to talk to people and had the best sense of humor.

He is survived by his cousins, Brenda and Roger Keefer and Roger and Linda Kemper as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members left to cherish his memory.

Graveside services are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio and will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
