Virginia Marie (Fisher) Gardner

Virginia M. Gardner, 87, Gallipolis, Ohio died Thursday, November 15, 2018 in the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room, Gallipolis, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Delbert and Amanda (Steele) Fisher, born January 22, 1931 in Buffalo, West Virginia. Virginia was employed by Middleton Estates from which she retired following twenty years of service and she attended White Oak Baptist Church, Gallipolis, Ohio. Virginia married Roy C. Gardner who preceded her in death March 2, 1994.

To this union were born two daughters: Katherine Dianne Gardner and Deborah (Marvin) Skaggs, both of Gallipolis, Ohio; granddaughters: Mandi (Tony) Nibert, Gallipolis, Ohio and Jennifer (Eric) Williams, Washington Courthouse, Ohio and great-grandchildren Roy, Shi-Anna, Dakota, Stevie and Savannah.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded by a son, Roy C. Gardner; sister, Eula Gardner and brothers, Gordon, Steele and Bob Fisher.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, November 19, 2018 in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio with Pastor Carl Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Cheshire, Ohio. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Monday 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
