Virginia Lou Tipton

Virginia Lou Tipton, 86, Gallipolis, Ohio passed away at her residence Sunday, September 15, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born May 31, 1933 at Bidwell, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Willis Carl and Hannah Caroline (Rutan) McBride. She married Richard Tipton, who precedes her in death.

Virginia leaves behind her children: Michael Tipton, Gallipolis, Ohio; Lois Henry, Thurman, Ohio and Lynn Tipton, Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren: Chad (Erma) Tipton, Angie (Brian) Bias, Caleb (Mandi) Tipton and Kyle (Valorie) Tipton and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brother and sisters, Mike McBride, Frances Hays, Kay Easton and Judy Bailey.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Joseph Tipton; grandson, Shawn Henry; brothers: Bill McBride, Jim McBride and Pat McBride; sisters, Eleanor Nolan and Jane Werry and son-in-law, Bill Henry.

Private arrangements for the family are under the direction of the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio who is honored to serve the Tipton Family.
