You were a great man, a hero whom we are so sorry to lose. You deserved only the best; surely not this ending way too soon with all you had to look forward to. My heart breaks for all your loved ones as well as you; yet they can proudly say you were a true hero for this is how you choose to live; protecting others!!! God, tell this hero how proud we are of him.

We will miss Dave so much. He was a special man. Always willing to help us with whatever we needed. He could fix anything! If he didn't know how he would figure it out! He meant a lot to us. We are praying for all of you.
